Physical Therapist
As a former kinesiologist, Danielle is a strong believer in the power of exercise, and feels a healthy and balanced lifestyle is key to success.
During a period spent working as part of an occupational rehabilitation team treating injured workers, Danielle saw day after day how exercise helped her clients recover faster and stronger. While working alongside physiotherapists during this experience, Danielle was inspired to follow their lead to expand her knowledge of the human body and rehabilitation.
As a physiotherapist Danielle has added IMS, manual therapy, education, and other therapeutic techniques in addition to prescribing exercise to her recovery toolkit.
Physiotherapy is an exciting and challenging profession, and Danielle is always keen to expand her knowledge and skill-set. She loves the variety of people that come into the clinic, and enjoys working with people of all ages.
Danielle’s favourite areas of practice include women’s health (including incontinence and perinatal/postnatal conditions), hip and knee osteoarthritis, post-surgical rehabilitation, and treating low back pain.
Danielle knows that communication is an integral part of the client-therapist relationship. The client knows their body best, and by taking the time to listen Danielle can provide them with exactly what they need.
Outside of the clinic you can find Danielle practicing what she prescribes! When she is not outside playing with her daughters, on a hike, or in the gym, you can usually find Danielle relaxing in her kitchen making food for family and friends.
